Wow.. I know its just a bunch of 3d renderings but i’m pretty excited about this teaser from ford. Big ford badge, Huge fender flares and we are starting to a lot of yellow lighting.. The new yellow lighting direction seem to be a new aspect of the Raptor Branding that is going farther than just side markers / clearance lighting. It’s incredible isn’t it? All the fender and grill marker lights were originally because of the regulation for wider vehicles and now its just a built in part of the brand
Bronco Fender Flares
WOW! those fender flares are HUGE! On the Ranger and F150 Raptor ford opted to had wider finders with minor fender flares that stick out, but on the Bronco raptor they took a completely different direction. For most of the jeeps guys out their big tires and big fender flares are pretty normal but this is a departure from Raptor norm. Im not sure if this approach leaves much more up travel than factory but time will tell.
May 26 2021 updates
Ford provided another confirmation in a tweet of continued testing and development of a Bronco Raptor, pictured below in camouflage. You can clearly see Raptor Baja style features. You can see the iconic raptor bead-lock wheels, Big fender flares and some increase ground clearance.
While hundreds, if not thousands of pre-orders for the full size Ford Bronco have yet to be delivered, it’s clear Ford is quick to test and build not just another great 2021 F150 Raptor but a line-up including the Bronco and the Ranger. With competitors like the RAM TRX, Ford has to be looking to up the game with not just one Raptor but a family of Baja ready performance off-road vehicles. Ford created this market, grown it, and these seem to be a head nod to their next step… setting the pace for the future of performance off-road vehicles that can also be your daily driver.
