Best Headlights For F150 We Reviewed

Alpha Rex Pro – Best Value

The Alpha Rex Pro is a more budget friendly product but still has great features. Good warranty, and it’s the only sequential LED/Switchback headlight in its price range.

It has the same softer diffused LED tube for the DRL as does its more expensive brother the Alpha Rex Nova. And has halogen projectors which do much better than the factory ford f150 reflector halogens. The sequential turn signals are built into the led tub and are switchbacks which are the only switch backs and sequential at this price point.

For more information visit the manufacturer’s website.

1.5x brighter than stock HIDs. This is a high end triple LED headlight. This is a premium brand that has made great lighting options for the F150 for some time. Standard LED lightning across the board from highs, lows, DRLs and turn signal.

You cannot go wrong with this choice. Best warranty , highest quality they are a bit pricier but owners of these products swear by them and keep coming back for more.

The XB hybrid is a bit different in a few ways to reduce the price from the premium XB LED. It has two LED projectors instead of the 3 and it has a halogen turn signal. No sequential/switchbacks but it does have the DRL which everyone loves.

Don’t let the lower cost concern you, the quality is still there and while not as bright and a bit lower on features they are still much much brighter than factory and come with the best warranty.

Alpha Rex Nova

The Alpha Rex Nova is a clear competitor to the Morimoto, both in price and features. It also is the brightest (low and high beams) light we have reviewed. Good warranty, Unique quad LED look and a quality build sets this light a part as one to consider.

It has has a softer more diffused LED tube for the DRL instead of an LED strip. This is more of a preference feature, but should not be seen as inferior in any way. Finally the sequential turn signal are built into the 3 led bars on the bottom.

Anzo USA

The Anzo USA headlights are a big departure in style from the rest of the lights listed. They have a dual LED u-bar on each light that is formed around the high and low beam projector. They are not daytime running lights (DRLs) but do come on with the parking lights and switchbacks that turn yellow for the turn signal. Love it or hate it, these guys are one of a kind. AmeriLite Switchbacks

AmeriLite Switchbacks are the last of the products with a style upgrade over OEM. They have both switchback LED turn signals as well as a led tube running light shaped similar to the Mirimoto style headlights. Because of the price range they have halogen high and low beams on board. However, the best option for this light is the number of styles available. They come in chrome or black, and with and without the LED turn switchback depending on your budgets. A good flexible option. For more information visit the manufacturer’s website.

TorchBeam – Best OEM Style Replacement

Only buy non-OEM, OEM style lights if you’re in a pinch and you don’t have the cash for OEM lights. These lights are not anything to write home about but the torch beams seem to be the best option. They will get you by for 2-4 years before they give out. Built in reflector like OEM. Comes in multiple light and dark styles. They seem like a solid budget option when looking for OEM style.
